Coat Rack Makeover

We have been looking for an antique coatrack for a loooong time, and finally last weekend we found one! It wasn't the prettiest one in the the bunch, but I knew with a little bit of paint I could make it our own.

It didn't need too much sanding because it was actually in pretty good shape, so I used a liquid sander called 'Klean Strip' that stripped the top layer in minutes! I will definitely be using this product on simple diy projects in the future.

I used one of the paint samples I had left over from our fireplace makeover and just used a big paint brush along with an angled one to fill in small crevices and hard to reach spots.

And VIOLA, no more messy couches with coats all over them!
